Awesome regional fresh Mexican food. I've been all around and rarely rank something 5 stars. This is legitimate and delicious.

een going here since before they even moved inside when they were just operating out of a food truck. The food has always been solid, easily on par with the best Mexican in Charleston. Their prices are also very reasonable. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu

Great Atmosphere, Better Food!

Food was SPECTACULAR! I got the mixtas fajitas and the nachos. Everything was well prepared, perfect temperature, and very authentic. The girl who helped us was very welcoming, explained the menu, and even gave us some history on the place. Will definitely be adding this restaurant to the list of places I go to when I’m in town.

NOW it's a restaurant and the food is fabulous. If you go- keep this in mind: this is a business made around a kitchen that knows how to make great food. They know nothing about running a restaurant. Expect this and let the glitches flow over you gently. You will have a great meal, at a great price. We (party of 2) went on a Saturday night and when we arrived there was one other couple being served and they were finishing up. For most of our time there we were the only customers. We brought our own beer in a small insulated bag. When we were seated the waitress told us about the fruit juices they were featuring. We showed her our little bag of beer and she said she needed to ask the kitchen if that was ok- and she left. She came back a few minutes later and assured us it was fine for us to drink our beer (you're welcome). For dinner, we started with chips and salsa and asked for a side of guacamole (none of the else things were on the menu). Our waitress again went to the kitchen to ask and again came back and said yes. We also ordered shrimp fajitas, one fish taco to share, and the special of the day: chicken molè. They brought out the chips and salsa, followed by the sizzling pan of fajitas (no silverware or tortillas). A few minutes later they brought out the guacamole. Ok- you have to try this guacamole. It is show stopping (and huge- look at the picture). Anyway, it was probably 15 minutes before they brought out tortillas or a fork to eat the fajitas so they were no longer too hot. BUT that guacamole made us so happy it didn't matter. We will be back (and next time I will ask for a side salad)
